Academic Advisement

After matriculated students, both full- and part-time, have registered for the first time in a program of study, they are assigned a permanent academic advisor. Students should consult with their advisors on career and educational plans, transfer possibilities, and concerns about academic difficulties. Before the end of each semester, students should arrange to meet with advisors to plan the next semester’s schedule of classes. Students may find out who their advisor is by asking the secretary of the department in which their program is located or by inquiring in the Registrar’s Office.
