Readmitted Students
If you have applied to SUNY Ulster and attended at least one semester ago, you will need to apply for readmission. Using the SUNY Ulster Online Application for Admission, create your individual log-on and PIN and choose readmit among the application type selections.
You may request a readmission application from the Admissions Office, located in Vanderlyn Hall, VAN 101, 800:724-0833 or 845: 687-5018 or 5022, or at admissions@sunyulster.edu.
In addition, be sure to:
- Update your mailing address or last name, if these have changed since you were last at SUNY Ulster;
- Contact any other colleges or universities that you attended after you initially applied to SUNY Ulster to request that official copies of your transcripts be sent directly to SUNY Ulster's Admissions Office. If you are transferring credit to SUNY Ulster, you should refer to Transferring to SUNY Ulster for more information about transfer credits and residency requirements.
- If you completed immunization requirements during your first application to the college, there is no need to forward these again. The College Health Services maintains this record.
- Review the Application Requirements and Checklist to ensure that all other documentation has been submitted or to make arrangements to do so.
It may be recommended that you retake the Entering Student Assessment, based on the length of time you last completed this and previous coursework completed.
The Fresh Start Policy (FSP) provides you with an opportunity to begin again at SUNY Ulster, if your first time here was unsuccessful. Fresh Start is available if you left SUNY Ulster without completing an academic program and start again with a new grade-point average (GPA). FSP is an option if you have not taken a course at SUNY Ulster for at least two academic years.
