General Information for Admissions

SUNY Ulster is a comprehensive two-year college providing academic programs designed to help students secure employment or continue on at four year colleges and universities. Through its Open Door Policy the college makes education accessible to all motivated students, regardless of previous experience or performance if the student can benefit from the College's educational programs.

Opening its doors in 1963 with 10 academic programs at a temporary site, the college now offers almost 50 academic programs through its 165 acre Stone Ridge campus and has graduated more than 15,000 alumni. SUNY Ulster courses are offered at the Business Resource Center in Kingston; at the Highland Center at the Highland Middle School and through distance learning options to students all over the world. Go to "About SUNY Ulster" for more information on our programs and accreditation.
