Alumni Giving

Be A Part of Ulster

The Ulster Community College Foundation, Inc. provides support to residents of Ulster County who are working to achieve their educational goals and their dreams for the future. The outstanding support that individuals, corporations and organizations have so generously given has made it possible for the Foundation to award to SUNY Ulster students more than one million dollars in scholarships, emergency loans and vouchers for books. Public support has also made it possible for the foundation to foster educational and cultural activities that enrich the lives of ulster's students and the community at large.

Giving Options

There are a number of ways you can help support the efforts of the Ulster Community College Foundation, Inc.
You may make a gift by printing the 2008 Annual Fund card (click here for a PDF version.), then mail the completed card with your check made payable to Ulster Community College Foundation, Inc. Cottekill Road, PO Box 557, Stone Ridge, NY 12484. If you would like to make a gift via Mastercard or VISA (debit or credit), please call (845) 687-5283 to speak to a Foundation representative.

Scholarships

Several scholarship giving options are available. Whether you are interested in establishing a scholarship to honor an individual, promote study in a particular curriculum, or contribute to an already established scholarship fund. Foundation staff members are available to discuss your options. Your gift can help secure the dream of a college education for the next generation. To make a donation to the Ulster Community College Foundation, Inc. scholarship program print and return this form.

Planned Giving

In addition to outright gifts of money or stock, you may choose a planned gift:

  • Charitable Gift Annuities
Charitable Gift Annuities provide the annuitant/donor with an opportunity to make a charitable gift and receive an immediate income tax deduction and a guaranteed stream of income either for a specified period of time or for life. The total assets of the Foundation guarantee the payments made to the annuitant. The College Foundation currently has assets in excess of $4 million.

  • Charitable Bequests
Charitable bequests enable individuals to make larger gifts than they may have been able to during their lifetime and have become a popular form of charitable giving. You may leave a bequest to the Ulster Community College Foundation, Inc. by stipulating a specific sum or a percent of your residuary estate.
