About Us
At SUNY Ulster, athletic activities are designed to meet the diverse needs of a commuting student population. The athletic department and coaching staff recognizes that student-athletes attending a commuter based community college thrive best in an environment that is flexible and nurturing. SUNY Ulster competes in the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA), Division Three, and is a member of Region XV and the Mid-Hudson Conference (Westchester, Rockland, Dutchess, Orange and Sullivan County Community Colleges). The College teams are: men's soccer, basketball, baseball, golf, and tennis; women's soccer, volleyball, basketball, tennis, and softball; and co-ed bowling and cross-country. The College recognizes that a sound athletic program contributes significantly to the total program of an educational institution. To meet this need, the College offers an intramural program.
