Programs for Seniors

SUNY Ulster’s commitment to the senior population of Ulster County is demonstrated through its sponsorship of programs such as the Senior Computer Learning Center (SCLC) and RSVP .  the Senior Computer Learning Center provides a variety of computer classes for adults age 50 and over.

The Retired and Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP) has over 500 senior volunteers placed in almost 100 locations throughout the County. The Neighbor to Neighbor Program, which provides voluntary services to seniors in need of transportation to medical appoints, shopping and medically necessary errands, or friendly visits, is also a part of the RSVP.  The RSVP Neighbor to Neighbor Program is a member of the NorthEast New York Caregivers Consortium.
