Hands-On FAFSA Workshops for 2010-2011

SUNY Ulster’s Financial Aid Office hosts Financial Aid Workshops throughout the year. Here is a list of upcoming workshops scheduled for students interested in enrolling in the Spring 2011 semester and are interested in applying for financial aid. These workshops will be held at the Business Resource Center in Kingston.  You may wish to attend one of these sessions if you need assistance in completing the 2010-2011 FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid).

Wednesday, October 6, 2010  Room 206 BRC   5:30-7:00 p.m.
Wednesday, November 3, 2010   Room 116 BRC   5:30-7:00 p.m.
Wednesday, December 1, 2010   Room 116 BRC   5:30-7:00 p.m.

      If you plan to attend any of the above session dates, you should plan to bring the following items for student and parent(s) if applicable.

  • Your PIN (Personal Identification Number) which is your electronic signature to complete the FAFSA online. Request your PIN (Personal Identification Number) at www.pin.ed.gov approximately 72 hours before attending your scheduled workshop.
  • All W-2 forms, federal tax returns filed for 2009, untaxed income received in 2009 (social services, child support, or unemployment compensation),
  • List of all assets including checking, savings, cash, stocks, bonds, securities, trust funds, money markets, other real estate,
  • Driver’s license, social security card, and alien registration card.
