Foundation Vice Chair

“Do onto other as you would have others do unto you.”  In the business world, the parallel from H.S.M. Burns would be “a good manager is a person who isn’t worried about his own career but rather the careers of those who work for him.”

Dennis has been on the Foundation Board for more than 20 years.  He is currently the managing director of the Kingston office of Pattison, Koskey, Howe & Bucci CPAs, PC. After receiving his BBA in accounting from Adelphi University, Dennis began his career with Ernst & Ernst in Manhattan.  After several years in the city, he and his wife moved upstate and eventually settled in Kingston where they raised their family.

He has been thrilled to see the growth of the foundation and the exciting things happening at the college.  Of the many activities the Foundation sponsors, he and his wife Joyce are particularly impressed by the annual Anita Williams Peck public speaking competition held each June to award scholarships to students from Kingston High School. They are so impressed by the quality and the ability of these students as they prepare for their college careers.  They are also very fond of the Lights for Learning Program held each December, which raises funds to assist students who have short-term emergency needs to keep them in school.

In 2013, Dennis was delighted to be one of the honorees at the Foundation’s Annual Gala.

Dennis enjoys outdoor activities in the summer, reading anytime, when it’s not tax season, and “cruise ship” vacations.
