FDNY/Ulster Connection

Welcome!
New York City firefighters, emergency services and civilian personnel.

To say thank you to everyone at FDNY, the Board of Trustees of SUNY Ulster are waiving the mandatory $250.00 enrollment fee for our OASIS Program. OASIS is a fully accredited online associate degree program that will allow you to complete your degree right from your home or workplace anytime of the day or night. The SUNY Ulster/FDNY Connection ……

SUNY Ulster will award you up to 30 credits toward your degree for courses that you have taken at other colleges or universities, or you may receive credit for FDNY training or courses that have equivalent college credit. (Click here for more about Alternate Modes for Earning College Credit.)

So now, it is even easier to begin a program that can lead you to personal and career success! Your OASIS Degree can help you advance with FDNY, or prepare for a new career after retirement. You can earn your degree without disrupting your job, family or community commitments.

The $250.00 enrollment fee will be waived if you are a:

  • FDNY Firefighter

  • Emergency Services Worker

  • Civilian Worker
