  • Registration Information

    Social Security Number
Your social security number is requested on your registraton form for use as a student identification number.

    Course Availability
Enrollment in all courses is limited, so it is best to register early to get the classes you want.

    Course Cost
Call the office at (845) 339-2025 to find out the cost of the course you are regisrtering for. The fee for each course, unless otherwise indicated, is the registration fee only. Text or materials fees will be paid to the instructor or the bookstore, usually at the first class meeting.

    Refund Policy
Because noncredit courses are self-supporting, we count on registration fees as salaries for our instructors. Full refunds are issued up to two weeks prior to class. If, for extenuating circumstances, a refund is granted during the two weeks prior to class, a prorated administrative fee of at least 25% will be charged.

    Registration Status
Each registrant will receive a schedule/receipt which includes the dates, time and location of the course. The College may cancel any course that lacks sufficient enrollment to cover expenses. If a decision is made to cancel (usually one week before the first class meeting), a cancellation notice will be sent to you. YOU CAN HELP SAVE A GOOD COURSE BY REGISTERING AT LEAST TWO WEEKS BEFORE THE STARTING DATE.

    Class Cancellations
In the event of severe weather conditions or other emergencies, it may be necessary to cancel a class meeting. Such classes are usually made up at a later date. The cancellation of day classes will not automatically cancel evening classes. Cancellation announcements for evening classes will be made over local radio stations after 3 p.m.

    Certificates
A Certificate of Achievement is automatically provided for completion of some courses. A student who requires a certificate for reimbursement or other purposes after successful completion of a course for which certificates are not automatically issued, may request one from the instructor.
