Who Are We?

SUNY Ulster is your community college. Our goal is to ensure that all of our students reach their individual educational goals.

SUNY Ulster is a place where:

  • you can finish your first two years of college and then transfer to a four-year college to pursue your baccalaureate degree.
  • you can receive all the professional training you need to move directly into the workforce with a two-year associate's degree or a one-year or shorter diploma/certificate.
  • you can explore career ideas, retrain, or add to your job skills.
  • you can pursue a special interest or achieve a lifelong learning goal.
  • you can refresh your basic skills or catch up on something you meant to learn in the past.
  • you can get professional help on how to run a business.
  • you can get contract training for your employees.
  • you can attend events from basketball games to poetry readings to community organization meetings.

Whatever your goals or interests, we are here for you, willing (and usually able) to meet your needs.
