The SUNY Ulster Campus Store is operated by Barnes & Noble  and is located in the Student Life Center in Vanderlyn Hall.

Students can visit the bookstore on campus or online  for their academic needs. Students can buy or rent new and used textbooks. In addition, digital versions are available for many titles.

The store also carries art supplies, SUNY Ulster clothing and gifts, tablets, nursing uniforms and more.

Bus service is provided throughout Ulster County to the College. Current bus schedules may be obtained from the Public Safety & Security Office in the lobby of Hasbrouck Hall. Bus service is free of charge with a SUNY Ulster ID. Additional information may be obtained by calling Ulster County Area Transit (UCAT) at 845-340-3333 or checking their website .

The Children’s Center serves children between the ages of 6 weeks and 5 years old. The program is licensed by the New York State Office of Children and Family Services. The center operates during the fall and spring semesters from 7:30 a.m.-5:00 p.m. and is also open during Summer Session. The Children’s Center offers an educational preschool and childcare program designed to meet the developmental needs of the children served. Much emphasis is placed on the value of play in learning and socialization opportunities. The caring staff ensures positive experiences for all children within a safe environment.

Childcare is available to students, faculty, staff, and the community.                                         

In order to enroll, a recent medical examination and immunization records are required. A fee schedule is available at the center and online at sunyulster.edu/childrenscenter; a limited number of childcare tuition subsidies are offered through a SUNY grant for low-income families. Those who are interested in enrollment should stop in, call, or email at childrenscenter@sunyulster.edu. 

All students are provided an @my.sunyulster.edu email address upon acceptance to the College. Email is accessible from a link in the My.SUNYUlster.edu portal and can be accessed from mobile devices via the Gmail app. Email is the official method of communication utilized by SUNY Ulster and should be checked frequently.

Blackboard Bistro maintains the cafeteria in the Student Life Center in Vanderlyn Hall with a large variety of foods, including salad bar, wraps & sandwiches, homemade soups, grill items, and hot homemade entrees. The cafeteria is open from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., Monday through Thursday, and on Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. In addition, vending machines are located in Vanderlyn Hall, Burroughs Hall, Hardenbergh Hall, Hasbrouck Hall, and the Senate Gymnasium.

SUNY Ulster does not currently have on-campus housing facilities. All arrangements for living quarters are the responsibility of the individual student. 

 

My.SUNYUlster.edu is your Student Information Portal. It is SUNY Ulster’s primary means of communicating official College information with the college community.

The Portal is available to you from anywhere you have internet access by going to http://my.sunyulster.edu, then entering your User Name and Password in the appropriate fields, and clicking on Login.

The Ulster County Crime Victims Assistance Program helps people with the unique needs, concerns, and problems associated with being the victim of a crime.  Women, men, children, teens, the LGBTQ+ community, seniors, persons with disabilities, and veterans may seek assistance.  These services can be offered whether or not you choose to report the crime to the college or the police.  These services are free of charge for our students, faculty, and staff.

SUNY Ulster's Crime Victim Advocate is Amy Westberg.  She has office hours in the Enrollment & Success Center (VAN 119K) on Monday and Thursday.
