Muroff-Kotler Visual Arts Gallery
The Muroff-Kotler Visual Arts Gallery serves as a center for creative artistic activity at the College and for the outside community. It also functions as an environment for teaching, performing, and exhibiting.
The College's permanent art collection enriches the cultural climate on campus by making additional works of a high level of artistic achievement available to students and the community. In this manner, the collection serves as a permanent visual reference source.
The College believes that the acquisition of art works and the presentation of different art exhibitions assist the College community in setting standards for judgment and perception.

Quimby Theater
Quimby Theater was dedicated in 1969 in memory of John C. Quimby, who was Chairman of the Board of Directors of SUNY Ulster at the time of his death. The 500-seat theater is the venue for student and professional theatrical productions, concerts, dance presentations, poetry readings, guest lectures and other featured events.
The College Lounge
The College Lounge is a great internal venue for meetings, conferences, staff training, receptions, seminars, cultural events and more. It is located on the second floor of Vanderlyn Hall on the Stone Ridge campus. The venue is flexible in that it can be organized in a variety of formats including tables and chairs or classroom-type seating. We traditionally hold our Writers and Poets readings in this space, annual fashion show, and various lectures throughout the year.
