An introduction to fluid power - both pneumatic and hydraulic systems. This course explores the benefits of fluid power, the fundamental principles required to analyze fluid power circuits, and the common pneumatic and hydraulic components, circuits, and systems used in manufacturing environments such as pumps, compressors, valves, cylinders, and motors. Students will learn to interpret schematics to troubleshoot and maintain fluid power systems, practicing their skills using lab equipment.
