Diane LovettKeynote Speaker: Diana Lovett

Diana Lovett, Founder and CEO of Cissé Cocoa Co, will discuss her volunteer work at a children’s home in South Africa that set the stage for her lifelong commitment to social justice. This, combined with her love of chocolate led her to create Cissé Cocoa Co, a manufacturer of delicious snack food, sold in over 4,000 outlets nationwide that utilizes ethically responsible organic cocoa while supporting farmers in the Dominican Republic.

Diana will provide a compelling and thoughtful narrative about how she started and grew Cissé Cocoa, including what worked, what didn’t work, how she sought advice and help from a network of successful entrepreneurs in all areas of manufacturing, sales, marketing and customer service.  You will leave the session with an appreciation
of what it took for a small business to develop its products, successfully get them to market, leverage the talents of advisers and team members and fulfill an important social mission.
