The panel answered many important questions about pursuing a career in law, including what it takes to be successful in law school; how to limit student debt; the benefits of studying other curriculum prior to law; how to choose a course of study; and much more.

STEVE MAZZUCA, '78, is a retired IBM Principal Data Scientist and Executive Project Manager who has hands-on expertise in data analysis, quality management, process improvement, and Lean Six Sigma, which he used to drive continual improvement in targeted business operations. He holds eight patents and has degrees in Physics, Italian, and Electrical Engineering. He is a member of the Town of Gardiner Climate Smart Committee, Chair of the Mid-Hudson ASQ (American Society for Quality) Section, and President of the Board of Directors for Mid-Hudson Works.
Steve's presentation gave an overview of what data science is and covered the specialties and skills needed to be successful in this career field.
