Students in the Human & Protective Services Pathway are a force for good as they work with and serve people in the community. Regardless of the program you select, you will gain the skills and knowledge to find solutions to people’s urgent needs and complex problems.
Some of the careers in this pathway include police officers, lawyers, social workers, and substance abuse counselors. These degrees are versatile, leading to many career opportunities, and because these careers serve people, no two days will be the same. If you are considering a career in human services, the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics shows a growth rate that is 4% faster than the average growth rate of 5-8%. The Protective Services sector is growing at the national average rate of 5-8%.
