Police Basic Training Certificate

This certificate program incorporates the state‐approved police academy curriculum, ensuring that students are qualified for employment in the law enforcement field. Students in this program will be able to demonstrate working knowledge of New York State law, apply various laws to established police procedure and public safety response techniques, and demonstrate the knowledge, actions and procedures required of police officers.
