Learn about today's environmental issues and the solutions needed for local, national, and global challenges. This program will provide you with a strong foundation of knowledge in biology, environmental science, mathematics, and chemistry. Students in this program will have the opportunity to conduct field research with the New York City Department of Environmental Protection.
This program is designed for students who want to enter the workforce upon graduation or transfer to earn their four-year degree. Many SUNY Ulster graduates have transferred as juniors to colleges such as SUNY ESF, SUNY Plattsburgh, SUNY New Paltz, SUNY Albany, and SUNY Oswego, as well as many private institutions of higher learning.
