The Center for Academic Planning & Support (CAPS) assists students in learning, developing academic skills, and attaining academic success. We are dedicated to supporting and advancing teaching and learning by working collaboratively with faculty, administrators, and students to provide quality services, programs, and resources.

Mission:

  • Encourage all students to achieve their full educational and vocational potential

  • Empower all students to become responsible, independent learners

  • Offer academic support to students with special needs and challenges

  • Provide a learner-centered meeting place for students and professional and peer tutors  

  • Be flexible and forward thinking in utilizing technology as an integral part of the educational process

  • Support faculty with lab resources that complement their coursework and teaching techniques 

Staff

CAPS is supported by full-time staff as well as part-time student aides. Our front desk employees are always available to help students. Stop by and ask the questions that can make the difference in your success!
