This course follows the proven, world recognized Cisco Networking Academy curriculum and incorporates significant online components, including testing. Students should be very familiar with modern Windows computers and be comfortable using computers before registering for this course. Reliable Internet access is required for the student. This course has an online component. This course describes the architecture, components, and operation of routers, and explains intermediate principles of routing and routing protocols following Cisco Academy recommendations. It covers common link state and distance vector routing protocols plus static routing and routing tables.
