Participants in Community Band gain experience in the study and performance of varied styles of instrumental literature. The class performs one or two public concerts each semester. Throughout the semester students learn rehearsal and performance skills and the techniques of instrumental performance. Community Band is open to all students, faculty, staff, and persons in the community who have moderate proficiency on their instrument.
