 Five easy ways to register for noncredit courses:

  • ONLINE - Click here to register.
  • BY PHONE - Call 845-339-2025 and use your Visa or MasterCard or Discover.
    Monday - Thursday, 8:30 am - 6:00 pm
    Friday, 8:30 am - 4:30 pm
  • BY FAX - Complete the Noncredit Registration Form. (Note: When filling out the course code on this form use the letters & numbers listed in the catalog starting with one of the following: DCB, DCM, NCC, DDC, HSI, DDP, CFA, CFK or CFT.) Indicate your choice of Visa, MasterCard or Discover, include your card number and expiration date, and amount paid. (Only pay the Registration fee. Do not include materials or textbook fees with registration fee.) Fax the completed form to 845-339-0780, 24 hours, seven days a week. Use a separate form for each person registering.
  • BY MAIL - Complete the Noncredit Registration Form. (Note: When filling out the course code on this form use the letters & numbers listed in the catalog starting with one of the following: DCB, DCM, NCC, DDC, HSI, DDP, CFA, CFK or CFT.) Indicate your choice of Visa, MasterCard or Discover (include card number, expiration date, and amount paid), or send a check or money order payable to UCCC. (Only pay the Registration fee. Do not include materials or textbook fees with registration fee.) Use a separate form for each person registering, and mail the completed form to:

  • IN PERSON - Bring your completed Noncredit Registration Form and fee to the Continuing Education Office at the Business Resource Center. Office hours are:

Registrations will also be accepted on the Stone Ridge campus, Vanderlyn Hall, VAN 206.

 

Registration Information 

Course Cost
Call the office at 845-339-2025 to find out the cost of the course you are registering for. The fee for each course, unless otherwise indicated, is the registration fee only. Text or materials fees will be paid to the instructor or the bookstore, usually at the first class meeting.

Senior Discount on Select Courses
A tuition discount of 20% applies to select courses for seniors 60 and over. Date of birth must be provided when registering. Courses will be noted where a “Sr. discount applies.”

Noncredit Service and Transfer Fees
There a certain fees charged for withdrawing, requesting a transfer from one class or session to another, and for other administrative services.

Refund Policy
Because noncredit courses are self-supporting, we count on registration fees as salaries for our instructors. Full refunds are issued up to two weeks prior to class. If, for extenuating circumstances, a refund is granted during the two weeks prior to class, a prorated administrative fee of at least 25% will be charged.

Registration Status
Each registrant will receive a schedule/receipt, which will include the dates, time and location of the course. The College may cancel any course that lacks sufficient enrollment to cover expenses. If a decision is made to cancel (usually one week before the first class meeting), a cancellation notice will be sent to you. YOU CAN HELP SAVE A GOOD COURSE BY REGISTERING AT LEAST TWO WEEKS BEFORE THE STARTING DATE.

Class Cancellations
In the event of severe weather conditions or other emergencies, it may be necessary to cancel a class meeting. Such classes are usually made up at a later date. The cancellation of day classes will not automatically cancel evening classes. Cancellation announcements for evening classes will be made over local radio stations after 3 p.m.

Certificates
A Certificate of Achievement is automatically provided for completion of some courses. A student who requires a certificate for reimbursement or other purposes after successful completion of a course, for which certificates are not automatically issued, may request one from the instructor.
